WWW Wednesday is a book list hosted by Taking on a World of Words, and I’m happy to participate today for the first time.
Three W’s:
What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What I’m Reading:
Baby Please Don’t Go by Frank Freudberg
I received this book from Maxine (Booklover Catlady) to read and review. This is a psycological thriller and what I’ve read so far is certainly intriguing. There’s a really good guy and a really bad woman and it’s kind of obvious that she will take advantage of him (by using her feminine powers) to get him to help her get custody over her children and as much money as possible in the divorce settlement.

What I recently finished:
Dark Secret by Janice Frost
Review to come by the end of the week. Although this book has 60% of 5-star reviews on Amazon, I can already tell you that, based on this book, I don’t think I’m inclined to read other books by this author. For me personally, it had a little too much interrogations and going around the same people over again to question and it did not really have enough suspense.

What I’ll probably read soon:
The Travelers by Chris Pavone
I’m very excited that I could add this next one to my book pile and and I hope to read and review this one really soon. It has a bit of Bourne Identity-feel to it when I read the blurb. I can already see Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie playing the parts.
A pulse-racing international thriller from the New York Times bestselling author of The Expats and The Accident
It’s 3:00am. Do you know where your husband is?
Meet Will Rhodes: travel writer, recently married, barely solvent, his idealism rapidly giving way to disillusionment and the worry that he’s living the wrong life. Then one night, on assignment for the award-winning Travelers magazine in the wine region of Argentina, a beautiful woman makes him an offer he can’t refuse. Soon Will’s bad choices—and dark secrets—take him across Europe, from a chateau in Bordeaux to a midnight raid on a Paris mansion, from a dive bar in Dublin to a mega-yacht in the Mediterranean and an isolated cabin perched on the rugged cliffs of Iceland. As he’s drawn further into a tangled web of international intrigue, it becomes clear that nothing about Will Rhodes was ever ordinary, that the network of deception ensnaring him is part of an immense and deadly conspiracy with terrifying global implications—and that the people closest to him may pose the greatest threat of all.
It’s 3:00am. Your husband has just become a spy.

What you say abut Dark Secret reminds me of my issues with The Cuckoo’s Calling. There was just so much meeting up with people and listening to their stories/asking them questions. Too much telling and not enough showing!
Thank you for visiting my post earlier (https://clairehuston.wordpress.com/2016/03/16/www-wednesday-16th-march-2016/) and welcome to WWW Wednesday 🙂
