I found this tag on Betty’s blog, Bookish Regards and I was interested to know what some tests would say about me.
I picked out the tests that interested me the most (there are a few more) and I want to share what I found out about the following:
- Meaning of my Name
- My Personality Type
- Zodiac Sign
- Hogwarts House (always useful to know when you’re meeting a HP addict)
- Career choice
- Divergent faction
What is the meaning of your name?
Inge is not a very common name here and I’m quite happy with that. I only know one other person with the same name. Points for my parents orginality.
Quoting from Wikipedia :
Inge a given name in various Germanic language-speaking cultures. In Swedish and Norwegian, it is mostly used as a masculine, but less often also as a feminine name, while in Danish, German and Dutch it is exclusively feminine. The feminine name has the variant Inga.
The name is in origin a hypocorism of names beginning in the element Ing- (such as Ingar, Inger, Ingrid, Ingeborg, Ingram, Ingvild, Ingunn etc.). These Germanic names made reference to either the god Ing or to the tribe of the Ingvaeones (who were presumably in turn named for the god).
Behind the Name also has interesting things to say about my name. It even has ratings about how people perceive my name. It’s perceived as a good name, natural, classic, informal, upperclass, although by some also a bit strange, simple, serious and nerdy.
Even in history, there were not so many famous people with the same name, although there was some royalty:
- Scandinavian royalty
- Inge I of Norway (died 1161)
- Inge II of Norway (died 1217)
- Inge I of Sweden (died c. 1100)
- Inge II of Sweden (12th century)
- Inge Krokann (died 1962), Norwegian writer
- Kjell Inge Røkke (born 1958), Norwegian businessman
- Stig Inge Bjørnebye (born 1969), Norwegian soccer player
What is your Myers Briggs personality type?
The ISFJ personality type is quite unique, as many of their qualities defy the definition of their individual traits. Though possessing the Feeling (F) trait, ISFJs have excellent analytical abilities; though Introverted (I), they have well-developed people skills and robust social relationships.
ISFJs are true altruists, meeting kindness with kindness-in-excess and engaging the work and people they believe in with enthusiasm and generosity. ISFJ personalities (especially Turbulent ones) are often meticulous to the point of perfectionism, and though they procrastinate, they can always be relied on to get the job done on time.ISFJs take their responsibilities personally, consistently going above and beyond, doing everything they can to exceed expectations and delight others, at work and at home.
What is your zodiac sign?
This website appoints me as a Virgo.
- Strengths: Loyal, analytical, kind, hardworking, practical
- Weaknesses: Shyness, worry, overly critical of self and others, all work and no play
- Virgo likes: Animals, healthy food, books, nature, cleanliness
- Virgo dislikes: Rudeness, asking for help, taking center stage
Also interesting, it gives you an idea of your lucky numbers. Mine are 5, 14, 23, 32, 41 and 50. Maybe I should try them out in a lottery.
Pisces should be my perfect match for marriage and partnerships. And if you are a Taurus or Capricorn, we have the greatest overall compatability for being great friends.
What Hogwarts house would you be in?
Which Hogwarts house will you be sorted into?
Your in-depth results are:
Ravenclaw – 11
Slytherin – 10
Gryffindor – 9
Hufflepuff – 8
What career are you meant to be in?
Which divergent faction do you belong in?

Et voilà. I hope I didn’t annoy you too much with this ;-). Any of you in the same divergent faction as I am? Anyone a Taurus or a Capricorn because we could be BFF’s in real life 😉 !
you’re like my soulmate! I have all the same things you do. And eventhough I want to be in Gryffindor, I am more of a Ravenclaw 😀

You should study pyschology ;-). I really liked taking these tests too.. it’s not that I don’t know my personality yet but still, it’s nice to see it’s really ‘a type’ and there are more people like me.

Haha! I was actually considering it for a while. I did do a free online course that was a basic introduction to psychology. I find it super interesting. I don’t think I could handle how much work would have to go into actually studying it though 😅 And yes! It’s interesting seeing how different and similar others are to you!
