Celebrating The Little Things

celebrating-the-little-things

Thank you Donna @Chocolatenwaffles’ Blog for tagging me. I don’t really like to be tagged in general but if I have to be tagged I’m glad it’s by you!

Who was your very first follower (if you can find out)? Tag them and give them a shout!

Well I started my blog on February 28 and my first follower came on March 10 and was Megan of Pitchblacksky. She was a newbie too and started her blog on January 22, so perhaps she was looking for ideas or something, I frankly have no idea how she found me but I was happy as can be that day. She’s been a bit absent lately but I hope she doesn’t stop blogging.

Anyway, I also want to thank the following bloggers because they followed soon after and they are all still around too. Thank you Wendy, Yvonne and Hayley !

What was the last milestone you reached?

I haven’t had a new notification for a while now but I think the next one will be my one year blogiversary at the end of February! Something to look forward to :-).

What was the very first post you posted on your blog? Share it with us, if you can find out!

Since I had it in my head to only share reviews and wasn’t even fully aware of the existence of tags, it was a review for a book called 47 Sweet Street.

Who was your most recent follower? Tag them and give them a shout!

My most recent followers are Steffi from Little Booky Nook this weekend and Aria from Snow White Hates Apples TODAY! I’m already fallen in love with this site ;-).

I still have no idea how they all find me and where they come from but I’m very grateful for all those who find and follow me!

What was the last post you posted and who was the first person who took their time to click the like button? Give them a shout out!

My last post was my bookreview for the Deep Down Dead blogtour and the first one to like my post was Sarah Hardy of ByTheLetterBookReviews. Thank you!

How many months have you been blogging for?

11 months and 2 days! I can’t believe I’m almost nearing a year.

Do you have any bloggers you’re friends with? Give them a shout out!

Of course, thank you Donna and Danielle you’re the best ! I feel kind of guilty that they always comment on my posts and even though I actually secretly look forward to them leaving a comment, I also want to say now that it’s okay to not always comment 😉 !

There are some other blog friends that I can always count on and I see or hear them several times each week. Thank you Annie, Liis, Renee, Amanda, Nicki, Stephanie, Anne, and so many others. I’m sorry if your name is not in this list but if we interact, you know that I mean you should definitely be included!

Who originally created the last meme or tag you participated in? Give them a shout out!

The last tag I did was the Book Tastes Tag from Giovanna @Book Coma Blog but I wasn’t really tagged for that one. The last one I was tagged for was the This Is My Genre, Tell Me Yours Book Tag created by Drew @TheTattooedBookGeek.

Have you any social media related to your blog?

Yes you can find me on Facebook too. I’m sorry but I don’t have Instagram and I don’t think I ever will, I take the worst pictures ever!

Last but not least… Just give thanks to all your followers!

Thank you to all my 380 WordPress followers!!! I never imagined this happening!

  2. Awwe, thanks for the mention 🙂
Oh my word, your blogiversary is coming up! A year! 🙂 How exciting 🙂 I hope the past 11 months, 2 days have been a great experience for you… Thinking back here myself, I think you have read some pretty racy books… racy as in edge of the seat stuff and even though we rarely read the same books, I can’t seem to stop myself from reading your reviews! Maybe this is something I should do this year- read *more* thrillers and mysteries. After all, your reviews are a great starting point for recs… I do actually like the genre but for some reason I always fail to read more than one or two a year!

    • I know, this time last year I was having my first thought about starting my own blog :-). I’m so happy I gave it a try, and that you and others found me on the web! Racy haha, you had me worried for a second there 😉 but yes, I’ve tried one, two cosy mysteries this year and I miss the tension in those usually. You are so, so sweet that you still come and read, even if we don’t read the same books. I like reading your reviews too, they are highly entertaining!

      • Aye, cosy mysteries are a drag for me! All them cupcake killers and macaroon murderers are like- eh… but you’ve had some great books here over the past year that I definitely want to check out! 🙂
Thank you 🙂 I hope I will manage to keep the entertainment level up for you! 🙂

  3. Thanks so much Inge for including me in your blogging friends list! I’ve enjoyed reading your reviews and chatting about books, we seem to have many similar interests and it’s always fun to share thoughts.
