Blogiversary celebration & giveaway

I can’t believe it’s been a year already. I can’t believe I couldn’t wait until March 1 to start blogging either ;-). I can’t believe I’m still standing and even found a little place between the rest of you.

I’ve written 180 posts this year and I didn’t know ANYTHING when I started. I learned so much, all by finding out by myself, by watching other bloggers, trying things out, googling.. What is an ARC, what is Canva, how do you get into blog tours and what is content, how do I get an extra tab in my menu.. ;-). A new world for me, I’m not kidding. One I wasn’t sure I could pull off at first but I tried because I thought it would be awesome to make contact with other people who loved to read. I still have a lot to learn though, I’m well aware. I’m not sure my blog or reviews have really evolved from the beginning, as I am the queen of conservatism, but I feel it’s okay and I can take it however slow I want in changing my review format or my blog lay-out.

I love you all for the support and nice words I’ve gotten this year, for the nice comments and all those likes. I’ve made blog friends, I’ve had contacts with authors (still a bit wow as they seemed so far away, so unreachable before I started my blog), I mailed with publishers, had the opportunity to read the most amazing books that I wouldn’t have read otherwise probably…

So to thank you all I’m hosting a giveaway for a paperback copy of The One (international of course but due to shipping costs I’ll only send it with standard postage). This is a five star read to me and I think everyone should read it! You can read my review again here. There are just two simple things to do if you want to win, I don’t like long lists either, so just click on the link and take your chance to win:

a Rafflecopter giveaway

The giveaway will run until Sunday 5 March 12.00 am my time and I’ll announce the winner on March 6th!

Good luck !

  2. Happy Blogiversary!🎉🎉 I’ve enjoyed getting to know you and talking books with you!
I agree with what you said about starting out, I had no idea what an arc was or any other terminology, now I use it all the time and confuse the hell out of my friends 😂
The last 5 star book I read was Deep Down Dead by Steph Broadribb

    • Oww that’s so nice! Do they all ask you then too where you get those from and do you see their eyes getting bigger when you tell them you get them from publishers and even from authors selves? :-):-). Ah yes DDD, I’m so glad you finally got to read it. I really liked it too but I’m more of a fan of books with mind games and such than action. Maybe I’ll like Six Stories therefore more than you, we’ll see :-).

      • I’m a lover of mind games too so we’ll see! My friends get more annoyed when I tell them I’m abandoning them all for my blogging friends because they understand me better 😂 Sadly they don’t truly appreciate what it means to get an early copy, they just aren’t bookish enough 😔 that’s why I’m so glad I starting blogging and met you all! ❤️
