About Me:
- I’m super punctual and can’t stand it if people (or trains, trams, airplanes) are running late.
- I can’t look at operations on tv, but I don’t have any problems reading about bloody stuff in books.
- I’m the most indecisive person in the world. It’s giving me a lot of grief when I have to buy something, like say shoes. I usually end up buying two (or three) pairs at once in the same style. Lucky for me that at least I hate buying shoes (I know it sounds contradictory but I never find what I want, until I have to) and I only go shoe shopping once a year or even once every two years ;-). Yes the first pair are even the SAME shoes but in a different colour ((used to be) pink/beige-brown). And of course I end up wearing only one pair but at least now I still have another pair when the first are worn out. I get overly attached to items too and always want to find the same thing afterwards (#99 problems).
Favorite Posts:
Well my favorite kind of posts are probably my BFF posts, showing my blog friends, because I get so many nice comments on them and I really like to get a better, more complete image of who my blog friends really are.
It’s funny but it isn’t a review but my post of 2 weeks ago ‘Do you have a book buddle‘ that got the most views and comments since I started blogging. Maybe I should just buy more bookish stuff ;-).
My answers to Dee’s questions:
If you could live anywhere else in the world, where would that be and why?
I’d love to live in a country where I can wear flipflops more than half of the year at least. I’d love to live somewhere warm and just thinking out loud.. I’m thinking Dominican Republic here. I had the biggest culture shock there and I think that’s what attracted me the most.
Who’s your favourite author? The one whose books you automatically pre-order without even knowing what they’re about?
I’m going with Gillian Flynn. She only wrote 3 novels to this day; I loved the darkness in all of them. So her next novel will be bought as soon as it’s out.
Can you think of a character in a book you’d love to invite for dinner?
I have no idea really. I’d love to sit next to Robert Bryndza (yes the author) for dinner though. I know he likes to eat and he seems just like a very friendly, fun and nice person.
Name five books you’d hope to have with you if you were stranded on an island?
- I am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes (because it’s deliciously thick)
- I Escaped from Auschwitz by Rudolf Vbra (to never lose perspective)
- The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons (I haven’t read it yet but it’s got 637 pages)
- Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover (to make me daydream)
- On The Island by Tracey Garvis-Garves (because it’s about being stranded, on an island, and it’s a hot romance)
You’re going on a road trip but you can only bring music by one artist. Who do you choose?
Because I can’t think of anybody else right now and he’s my latest focus: Bruno Mars.
Nominees for Mystery Blogger Award (but feel free to ignore if you don’t feel like doing it):
- Nicki @Secret Library
- Lucy @Lucy Reads
- Lauren @My Paper Infinity
- Donna @Chocolate’n’ Waffles
- Laura @Snazzy Books
- Janel @KeeperofPages
- Wendy @Little Bookness Lane
- Stephanie @TeacherofYA’s Book Blog
- Loreen @Coffee and Cats
My questions to all the above nominees:
- If I were to kill you, what would be your favorite way of getting offed? (the weird/quirky question people ;-))
- What’s your favourite kind of blog post to read?
- What’s your best blogging tip for writing a good review?
- If I would go to one blogger event, which one do I really need to attend?
- If there was no other way, would you choose being blind or being deaf?
Thanks again for the nomination Dee! Wishing everyone a happy Monday!
Omg I get over attached too, if I find something I really like I buy it twice so I have another when the first gets worn out and for example if I like the way a top fits, I’ll buy it nearly every colour 🙈
Thanks for the nomination 😊

People think it’s weird but then when their favourite shoes/clothes look old and tattered, they see the logic 😂

I’m also super punctual and I can be very mean with friends and family when they make me wait forever!!! With certain people, I give a false time so I know they’ll be here when I need them to be xD Since I got really sick, I can’t handle medical TV shows. I can read bits of it but nothing too big.
SHOES! I love shoes!!!
Thank you for those BFF posts, they are amazing and I feel they help us be closer 🙂
Yay, you went for a weird question!!

That sounds so familiar, I also often give an earlier time! Only some people already know me really well and demand then what the actual time is for showing up somewhere :-). I’m really curious what the answers will be on my weird question :-).

Great fun and thanks for tagging me!! I’m going to join in but have to think of some questions to ask and people to tag. I might leave it open as I know lots of people have done it already.

I know, coming up with questions is not easy. I have selected some of my last followers for the tag, along with some of the regulars that I would really like to know better, so I’m hoping at least some haven’t done it yet and want to do this tag. It’s great to hear that you want to join in and I look forward to it!

Good job that you don’t live in the UK Inge as trains are never on time!😂

They’re not on time here either 😉 and 5 minutes is so common that people miss their train when it’s actually on time ;-).

You and Bruno haha ❤ I am also very punctual and usually super early to events as a result. I absolutely cannot stand tardiness. Also indecisive.. hmmm I am starting to see why we get along so well 😉

Yes me and Bruno.. I’m sure there are others but he’s my latest crush ;-). That’s very surprising that you’re indecisive, I didn’t picture you at all like that. I hope we never meet because if we need to decide what and where to eat we’ll be starving (I’m joking right)!

Thank you so much for the nomination! And what a great post 😃 agree with so much in here, especially living somewhere where you can wear flip flops loads! 😅

There’s still so much I don’t know about you, I thought this might be a good chance to change that ;-). We’ll meet in Australia then, I think this is THE flip-flop wearing country.

Im terrible at punctuality – always leave it to the last moment to set off for an appointment etc…. but I so admire people who can always be on time or early.

Really.. I wouldn’t have thought that of you.. but good to know, if we ever meet you can meet me half an hour early ;-).

Mighty.. great to get to know more about you as well… 🙂
Hell to the yes on punctuality- I’m always early to appointments, outings, everything. An then I always end up waiting and always end up getting pissed off XD hahaha… I’m like, come ooonnnn people, time is money, let’s do this so we can move on with the day. Oh.. this just reminded me, meetings at work.. everybody is always late! I hate it, especially when there’s a to do list attached with deadlines. ugh, and then that one time I decide to show up late just because, they’re all chasing me 1 minute past the agreed time- where are you? well, ffs! XD Murphy’s Law!
I love that you’re attached to your purchases. I am too… I hate shopping in general and quite honestly, I haven’t shopped for clothes for about 7 years now and I own about 4 pairs of shoes for the past 3 years XD and you know what- they’re just fine… I’ve better things to be spending money on… like books.. and food…

I know and people don’t understand then why I’m pissed because they are late.. I try not to let it show but it’s so obvious, you can see it written on my face :-). Meetings at work here too, I’m usually first. If it’s a meeting at 3 then people leave their desk at 3 instead of being there at 3. So cool to see our similarities 🙂
