WWW Wednesdays

WWW Wednesday is a book list hosted by Taking on a World of Words, and I’m happy to participate today.

The three W’s are:
What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What I recently finished :

I seriously loved this one. It has the feels, the romance and the heartache, and the writing was amazing. I can’t believe I’ve never read a novel by Jessica Park before. If you know and like Colleen Hoover’s books, then this is an author who you’ll love as well. There’s only one CoHo of course but she really does an amazing job to make it a fairly similar experience.

What I’m reading now:

Talk about being delusional, this guy is the top of the pops. This isn’t just a stalker, this is about a guy who actually believes his ex is just playing a game with him. If it wasn’t so disturbing to read you’d actually feel sorry for this fruitcake :-). How this is going to end, I don’t know but I’m ready for anything by now. It’s quite fascinating and I’ve shaken my head at him more times than you can count.

What I’ll (probably) read soon:

I really enjoyed reading Final Girls (it made my top 10 of 2017 even) so I really wanted to read Sager’s next novel, and it was actually one of my most anticipated novels of the year. I’m superhappy with the approval for this one on Netgalley and I hope I can get to reading it in May (if I can keep to my calendar)!

Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager

Last Time I Lied

Have you ever played two truths and a lie?

Emma has. Her first summer away from home, she learned how to play the game. And she learned how to lie.

Then three of her new friends went into the woods and never returned . . .

Now, years later, Emma has been asked to go back to the newly re-opened Camp Nightingale. She thinks she’s laying old ghosts to rest but really she’s returning to the scene of a crime.

Because Emma’s innocence might be the biggest lie of all…

  1. This post has made me want to read Our Kind of Cruelty. Unfortunately, its a wishlist book on NetGalley. I love a good stalker story. I like the fact that this one is disturbing and the stalker is almost/kinda sympathetic. That reminds me so much of You by Caroline Kapnes.

Enjoy your books this week. Happy reading.

    • I just wasn’t expecting… it. That’s why there were tears, I’d never cry otherwise *keeping up denial*. I thought this was a new author to me too but I read another book already I saw yesterday and rated that ‘only’ 3 stars, but this one’s way better!

  3. I haven’t read any of the books on your list, but 180 seconds is on my TBR and I really want to read Final Girls, I didn’t know the author had another book coming up. I’m so happy you enjoyed 180 Seconds, though, I can’t wait to read it too! ❤
