Same book, different cover #3

Welcome to a new battle of the books! There’s only one rule: pick two (or more) covers and choose your favorite one.

Here are 4 books that I read and 1 that’s on my readlist.

Let the challenge begin!

The Widow by Fiona Barton

The Widow 01   The Widow 02

Number 2. If I have to choose between light and dark I think I like dark more 🙂

Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty

BigLittleLies 03  BigLittleLies01 Australia  BigLittleLies 02

Number 1! I’m not entirely sure how the image relates to the story, but I still like it most of all.

The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris

The Tattooist 02 The Tattooist 01

Number 2. It’s less loaded and even from the cover I can see the emphasis on the romance.

The Names They Gave Us by Emery Lord

The Names They Gave Us 01  The Names They Gave Us 001

Number 2 again! I actually have the second cover in paperback and it was a complete cover buy. It has silver sparkles on it too. You have to believe me, this cover looks even nicer when you see it for real.

How To Stop Time By Matt Haig

How To Stop Time How To Stop Time 02

Number 1 but this is a really difficult one, I like them both! If you read the novel you’ll have to agree that the first one captures it all, the love that is slipping away as time passes. I think the hourglass is really an extra so if I haaave to choose I’ll go with the first one.

So that’s it. Tell me your thoughts! If you can’t get enough, check out Battle Of The Books #1 and #2

  1. I agree with them all but think they never got the cover right for Big Little Lies at all! I don’t know what they should have done but I can see why they kept changing, it just doesn’t fit it somehow!

  3. i had on my kindle the lollipop cover of big little lies, which is the one i prefer… but after the telly series came out, my kindle automatically updated it to the “movie cover”… without even asking me. 😦
i know, first world problems, but still… i don’t like this new cover

  4. I definitely 100% agree with the first four choices! The last one is a tough call, but I think I prefer number 2 (although I haven’t read it myself so any reference to the story would be lost to me here) 😉

  5. I love these posts! Its exciting trying to see if we have the same choices. This time I agree with you on all except The Tattooist. I read the book with the first cover so it kinda stuck with me. Fun post!
