Same book, different cover #4

I’m back with 5 new book covers for you to pick and choose your favorite one. This is just for fun so there are no wrong answers! OK, I’ll go first:

The Teacher’s Secret by Suzanne Leal

Teacher's Secret 01 Teacher's Secret 02

Cover 1! I really like how the title is written in a more childlike handwriting it’s not so crowded either.

Our Kind of Cruelty by Araminta Hall

Our Kind Of Cruelty 01  Our Kind Of Cruelty 02  Our Kind Of Cruelty 03

Cover nr. 2 but I have inside knowledge that justifies my choice. You see the female character in this novel has a thing for eagles, even wears an eagle as a necklace, and he was her eagle, so I find it perfectly chosen. I don’t even know what it is on that first cover.. ropes? I don’t see any reference there and the third one even less… it looks too couply but it’s a story that starts after a break-up so no.

Until You’re Mine by Samantha Hayes

Until You're Mine 02 Until You're Mine 03 Until You're Mine 01

Cover 1. It’s the only one that really makes me feel something when I look at the cover.

Educated by Tara Westover

Educated 01  Educated 02

This is a difficult one, but I’ll go for cover 1. I had to take a second look to notice that person standing on the mountain there, such a clever idea!

I Let You Go by Clare Mackintosh

I let You Go 01 I let You Go 02 I let You Go 03

Cover 3 really catches my eye. It feels like I could have seen the first one already somewhere else… the third one is simply more special and original and the book is so easy to identify when it has that cover.

So that’s it. Tell me your thoughts! If you can’t get enough, check out Battle Of The Books #1 – #2#3

  1. Yay, I so love these posts lol.

Okay, I agree with you on all these covers apart from Our Kind of Cruelty. I haven’t read the book so judging purely by cover, I would pick 3. However, I do get why the Eagle one appeals to you more especially given your knowledge of the story.

  2. I love these posts!
I really don’t like cover 3 for Our Kind of Cruelty, it’s so cliche and cheesy! I think I like cover no 1 most.
I really like cover number 2 for Until You’re Mine but that’s because I like simpl arty covers a lot! 🙂

  3. yesss !! I love coming to your blog and see one of thoses !!

    – mmmh, I kinda like the second one better, it highlight the “secret” part of it .. and like the kids are talking about it
    – eeeeh… idk, in the third one I can see the couple and then the lady facing away, so make sense to me ? other two not really.
    – yeah, first one aswell ! feels more creepy feeling .. and that ” I want and IM GONNA HAVE YOU”
    – I appreciate the more minimalist of No. 1 .. but second one has more of a ~vibe~ to it
    – I like the first for some reason

keep making thoses, please !! I’m loving it ! xx

  4. For the first one, I’m not sure I like either :O But #1 is the better.
For OKOC I really like the third one! I like the way the shadows are both facing each other and facing away, like they’re two-faced or turning on each other.
Until You’re Mine – definitely the first one: a) it’s the one I’ve got! and b) the other two are just so bland and generic.
Educated – I quite like both, but probably #1 the most.
I Let You Go – I have the third one, but I quite like the second because of the plot of her drawing the pictures in the sand.
    Great post, Inge! x

  5. Oh god, I never saw that little person on that pencil for Educated! I’m glad Inread this post. I’d still go for cover 2, but still really nice idea 🙂 for the rest, I didn’t read the books, so cannot really decide. One question, I was wondering about Our Kind of Cruelty. How’s the book?
