Mid-year top 10 favorite reads

My mid-yearTop 10 Favorits

It’s only mid-year (actually a bit later but between deciding to jump in and actually making the list, we’re already a month further along) and I can already make a top 10 of reads that were pretty amazing so far. Here’s my top 10 of favorite reads till the end of July. Choosing my top 10 wasn’t so hard as I thought but I already don’t want to think about the end of the year because I already have one that I just read and absolutely has to be on the list so sad but true, this list is still going to change at the end of the year.

In order of reading this year, here are the books with the links to my reviews:

Hydra by Matt Wesolowski

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen

Keeper by Johana Gustawsson

The Fear by C.L. Taylor

The Man Who Didn’t Call by Rosie Walsh

Guess Who by Chris McGeorge

A Scorned Woman by Jack Jordan

Never Go There by Rebecca Tinnelly

Jar of Hearts by Jennifer Hillier

So what do you think of my selection? Did any of these make it on your list too?

  1. I have Hydra and Keeper on my list for the moment. But I already have a top 20 and it’s only August so I can see things changing. This has reminded me I need to get a copy of Jar of Hearts. Didn’t I just say somewhere I am determined to buy anything? Argh! 😉

  2. Great list! A Jar of Hearts definitely is one of my faves for 2018 too. I read The Wife Between too though it was just okay for me. It Ends With Us is pure magic. I read it last year but can still remember just how much I was moved by the story. I need to get the other 7 titles especially now that they are in your top 10 list.

  3. Most titles here I somehow even know without reading them because they have been all the sensation in the community and it’s great that the first half of the year has flown under the flag of brilliant books!
Happy to see A Woman Scorned on the list, too 🙂 Loved this one… and I just started Before Her Eyes now… Exciting 🙂
Hope the rest of the year is filled with as many good books 😉
