I’m back with 5 new book covers to pick and choose your favorite one. This is just for fun so there are no wrong answers! OK, I’ll go first, then it’s up to you:

I choose cover number 1. The second one is too bleak and I like how many details there are to discover in first one.

Hmm I’m not really sure. Not cover 1 but a difficult choice between 2 and 3. I think I’ll still keep 3, the cover I have. In reality the colour really pops and I kind of like it.

The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary

Cover 2. I’m really not attracted to the first one and I don’t think I would pick it up if I saw it and didn’t know the novel.

Definitely cover 2! It’s just a nicer shade of blue and the yellow boat is an eye-catcher.

Cover number 2! I love seeing this duality in a cover and I’m big on contrast so these very different sides make me even more interested. The first cover has been done before so the second one stands out more.Line

  1. I just put a hold on The Flat Share at my library and when I saw the cover (#1) I was like, oh…not all too appealing! The rave reviews is what got me, but like you if I had only seen that cover and didn’t know anything about it, I’d pass right over it!

  2. Oh, another fun one. For books 1, 2 and 3, I like the first covers, they seem more interesting. But for book 4, I like the second cover for some reason, as I do for the last book. The cover gives you a much better clue about the content telling us about the woman’s torn personality maybe? Fascinating.

  3. Funny! I actually picked up cover #1 for Flatshare which is actually more expensive than the other one lol
    Different stroke for different folks as they say!

  4. I love the first cover of The Doll Factory and it’s also the one that made me really want to read the book! I agree with you that the second one looks quite bleak in comparison.


  5. If i didn’t know the Doll Factory, based on the blue (first) cover i’d think it’s a kids book 😀
    Degrees of Guilt i defo prefer the second one.
    For the other books… i dunno, i kinda like them all 🙂
