WWW Wednesdays

WWW Wednesday is a book list hosted by Taking on a World of Words, and I’m happy to participate today.

The three W’s are:
What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

What I finished reading:

I received this novel orginally in a book subscription box. It was an ok read but not outstanding in my opinion as it was pretty predictable. I have no idea yet how to review this one so it’s still very much a work in progress.

Little Broken Things by Nicole Baart

What I’m reading now:

I have C.J. Tudor’s third novel ‘The Other People’ to read now (yay!) but I also have the first one thanks to a blogfriend who sent me her proof copy, so I’m happy to do things in the right order. I started this novel on vacation actually but the holiday was over sooner than the book was finished :-). It’s an easy read and has a very enjoyable writing style so I know it’s an author I want to read more books from and I’m thrilled that I can now.

The Chalk Man by C.J. Tudor

What I’ll (probably) read soon:

A difficult choice and I still haven’t read the novel I mentioned in my post last month but I’m thinking it’s cold and wintry already so it might be a perfect timing for nordic noir. Red Snow is the second novel in the Tuva Moodyson series, the follow-up of Dark Pines and I can’t wait to see where it’ll take Tuva this time.

Red Snow by Will Dean

One suicide. One cold-blooded murder. Are they connected? And who’s really pulling the strings in the small Swedish town of Gavrik?

Black Grimberg liquorice coins cover the murdered man’s eyes. The hashtag #Ferryman starts to trend as local people stock up on ammunition.

Tuva Moodyson, deaf reporter at the local paper, has a fortnight to investigate the deaths before she starts her new job in the south. A blizzard moves in. Residents, already terrified, feel increasingly cut-off. Tuva must go deep inside the Grimberg factory to stop the killer before she leaves town for good. But who’s to say the Ferryman will let her go?

So that’s it, what are you reading this week? Share your link in the comments below so that I can come and take a look !

    • Yesss finally… I feel like the last person to read one of her books! I can hardly believe it that you’re such a fan 😉 and haven’t read them yet. I knowwww it was hard to pick one as my future read because I have at least a hundred if not more to choose from 😄. I’m sure you’ll pick a good one though! Thanks pumpkin 😘

    • His third one is for next year so there’s still time 😉 I heard Red Snow is even better than his first so I can’t wait to find out 😃 Have a great week and happy reading to you too with the furry friends. It was so nice to see the little miss who literally went missing for a few weeks again in the photo you posted this week. So sweet ❤️

      • The first two books have already magically appeared on my kindle, so I’m definitely going to read those before the third book comes out next year. 😉 Have a wonderful weekend! ❤ And prepare yourself for more cat spamming in the next few weeks as I've given up on the whole Instagram growing thing by sticking to a theme… Almost nobody seems to see them anyway. xD And yes, I'm so grateful Delilah Bard came back after already having lost hope back then… It was the best Easter present I could wish for. ❤

    • The CJ Tudor novels are standalones as far as I know. There’s no special reason I started with her debut, I just have it so much longer so I thought it was better to read it first 😊 Thank you so much lovely, I wish you a great weekend already and lots of happy reading! 😘

    • We’re reading the same books then 😊 I know, his third novel is also a reason I want to read the second, and because I saw him, he’s so nice to talk to and I feel a bit guilty I still haven’t read it and I think I already have if for 6 months now 😌
