GIFT IDEA 7

Amazon UK: Word Puzzles for Mystery Lovers

Word Puzzles for Mystery Lovers

Each of the puzzles relates in some way to the wonderful world of MYSTERY NOVELS AND SHOWS.

The Double Jumbles are each based on a quote by a mystery novel writer or one of their characters. Solving these puzzles requires you to unscramble words to find the letters to complete the quote. Double Jumbles have been around for years in the comic ad puzzle section of newspapers. But these jumbles are ALL ABOUT THE MYSTERY / DETECTIVE NOVEL.

The next part offers entertaining word search puzzles, each with a mystery-based theme. To solve the puzzle, find the clues in the letter grid.

In the third section will have five crossword puzzles.

We’ve made our puzzles in large type to make them easier on the eyes. Even our solutions are in an easy-to-read format.

Oh and while you’re at it, why not add these Word Puzzles for Cat Lovers too?

A little heads up, I’ll probably post about the Crimibox at a later time again because I ordered a box from this site (for Dutch readers there are also 5 physical and 2 digital Crimiboxes available in Dutch and I ordered one of these and I’ll receive it in December). The Jericho case (for now the only one in English) is a digital case.

  1. Those book clocks look brilliant and I’m also tempted by the bedside pocket.
Also thank you for including my product in your post. I thought you might like to know that Coffee and Crime is having a sale at the moment and I have also launched a new product for November which is a vintage crime fiction advent calendar.

    • You are very welcome, it just fits my interests and blog perfectly. That bookish advent calendar sounds so amazing as well! I’ll check it out 😊

I wanted to make a book clock as a diy first but I still haven’t started that little project, so I searched for the end result and found some lovely looking clocks that don’t include the effort 😋 I so want that bedside pocket, it’s so handy! My phone, book, tablet and lamp are always on my bedside table at night and it’s pretty full. I’ll buy it for my next birthday (in September) probably.

  4. Love that lamp! Had a similar one – but that was only a lamp, so this one is certainly better 😀 On the brightest setting it was quite all right for reading cuz it was easy to put wherever i wanted.

  6. I’m actually not against the book clock.. with a gorgeous cover this could be actually pretty amazing! (even if they need a real book for that, don’t they?) — I’ve also been looking for a cute touch lamp! You see, I get panic attacks and the dark increase them .. 🤦🏽‍♀️ so you see how this is a pain, ahaha but it’s hard trying to get something that light *enough* so it would significantly ease my panic, but *not enough* light that it wakes the whole house you know ? XD

Ouuuh also that online investigation game is kinda neat. I love things like that!

    • Ah I actually don’t know if these book clocks have the text in them or they are really just decorative… I didn’t think about it but good point. I understand your quest for the perfect lamp. I have a little fatboy lamp (cute check!) that you can touch and also has a few settings, one for a little moodlight and if you touch it again it’s much brighter. But this one’s got more functionalities so also pretty interesting. Thanks so much for your comments Kristina.
