WWW Wednesday is a book list hosted by Taking on a World of Words, and I’m happy to participate today.
The three W’s are:
What did you recently finish reading?
What are you currently reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?
What I finished reading:
This sounded like a fun chicklit rom-com type of novel and it totally is. It’s a perfect escape if you’re in the mood for a feel good novel, I really enjoyed this!
The Flatshare by Beth O’Leary
What I’m reading now:
I received Dark Pines and the sequel Red Snow from the publisher in January. I really wanted to read the first one while it’s still winter. Call me crazy but I think it adds to the reading experience if it’s cold here too :-). I’m really enjoying it so far.. there is someone who looks very suspicious but I don’t know if there’s another secret to find there or if it’s the killer.
Dark Pines by Will Dean
What I’ll (probably) read soon:
I really had to restrain myself not to dive in right away but I’m on the blog tour in May so I told myself to hold off reading The Passengers a little longer. I think I won’t be able to do that much longer really because I’m dying to read this! John Marrs is one of my must-read authors and I loved all of his previous books so that’s a really good omen, right ?
The Passengers by John Marrs
Eight self-drive cars set on a collision course. Who lives, who dies? You decide.
When someone hacks into the systems of eight self-drive cars, their passengers are set on a fatal collision course.
The passengers are: a TV star, a pregnant young woman, a disabled war hero, an abused wife fleeing her husband, an illegal immigrant, a husband and wife – and parents of two – who are travelling in separate vehicles and a suicidal man. Now the public have to judge who should survive but are the passengers all that they first seem?
So that’s it, what are you reading this week? Share your link in the comments below so that I can come and take a look !
Glad to hear you’re (finally! 😂) reading Dark Pines! So good! And the sequel is even better. Just saying.

I’m so excited for The Passengers! I’ve also had to hold back from reading it too soon, but as soon as my April TBR list is out of the way I am all about that book.

I’ve got The Passengers to read too. Not read any John Marrs books so looking forward to this. Currently reading The Seven or Eight Deaths of Stella Fortuna so could be a while. Also nearly at the end of Tipping Point by Terry Tyler which I’ve really enjoyed.

Did a little copy/paste 😉 If you hadn’t told me I probably wouldn’t have noticed it. Oh Marrs is one of my fav authors, he does a LOT of twists in his books so very entertaining and surprising. Oh I haven’t heard about the novels you mention, but I loved another Seven Deaths (of another woman) so should check it out perhaps. Thanks for the comment(s)! 😘❤️

Oh, both Dark Pines and Passengers are on my list 😃
I think it does add to the experience when you read a winter book during season! I often do that too.

I’ve been eyeing Dark Pines for a long time, so I hope you will enjoy both books! And I don’t think I would be able to sit on a copy of a John Marrs book that long either. 😉 No ARC for me so I’ll just have to wait like all the ordinary people haha. Have a wonderful weekend!
