Same book, different cover #5

battle-of-the-books

Welcome to a new battle of the books! There’s only one rule: pick two (or more) covers and choose your favorite one.

Here are 5 books that I haven’t read yet but be it through their cover, a review I read or the blurb have piqued my interest.

Let the challenge begin!

The House Swap by Rebecca Fleet

The House Swap 01  The House Swap 02

I choose cover 2. No cover 1. No cover 2. That’s really how it went but finally I settled on the doors with a different colour and style.

Happiness for Humans by P.Z. Reizin

Happiness for Humans 01  Happiness for Humans 02

Cover number 1. I like the second one as well but the first is all pink and I like looking in the windows.

Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson

Let's Pretend this never happened 01  Let's Pretend this never happened 02

Cover number 1. I don’t know why but it’s intriguing, the second looks like it’s a crazy fun fictional novel 🙂

Fragments of the Lost by Megan Miranda.

Fragments of the lost 02  Fragments of the lost 01

Cover number 2. I already liked cover 1 but when I saw the paperback in the store my attention was really drawn to it and I had to pick it up.

The Ever After by Sarah Pekkanen

The Ever After 01  The Ever After 02

Cover number 1. I’m not so fond of the blue filter but I do like the image with the body language of both people most. It’s pretty clear too :-).

So that’s it. Tell me your thoughts! If you can’t get enough, check out Battle Of The Books #1 – #2#3 – #4

  1. I agree with you on all apart from House Swap and Fragments. Like Dee, I don’t think I’d pick book number two based on either covers. Actually, if I had to pick, I’d go with cover 2 because of the colors haha.

    As always, fun post!

    • Book 2 clearly isn’t a winner with everyone :-). A book about happiness deserves to have a happy colour though and for me my fav colour is pink so there. I did see another cover that was grey with a light pink heart just yesterday so perhaps I should have included that one as well… Thank you Diana!

  2. For The House Swap, I really like cover number one. It gives me the creeps.
I like cover #2 for the next 3.
I don’t like either cover for the last book. I totally agree on the body language of both people on the first cover as being good and descriptive but the blue filter is a killer.
