Welcome to a new battle of the books! There’s only one rule: pick two (or more) covers and choose your favorite one.
Here are 5 books that I haven’t read yet but be it through their cover, a review I read or the blurb have piqued my interest.
Let the challenge begin!
The House Swap by Rebecca Fleet
I choose cover 2. No cover 1. No cover 2. That’s really how it went but finally I settled on the doors with a different colour and style.
Happiness for Humans by P.Z. Reizin
Cover number 1. I like the second one as well but the first is all pink and I like looking in the windows.
Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson
Cover number 1. I don’t know why but it’s intriguing, the second looks like it’s a crazy fun fictional novel 🙂
Fragments of the Lost by Megan Miranda.
Cover number 2. I already liked cover 1 but when I saw the paperback in the store my attention was really drawn to it and I had to pick it up.
The Ever After by Sarah Pekkanen
Cover number 1. I’m not so fond of the blue filter but I do like the image with the body language of both people most. It’s pretty clear too :-).
So that’s it. Tell me your thoughts! If you can’t get enough, check out Battle Of The Books #1 – #2 – #3 – #4
Also don’t forget to check out the Secret Library Book Blog where Nicki holds a book battle with some AUDIObooks 🙂

neither 🤣. If I saw these in a bookstore, I’d walk right on by.

I agree with you on all apart from House Swap and Fragments. Like Dee, I don’t think I’d pick book number two based on either covers. Actually, if I had to pick, I’d go with cover 2 because of the colors haha.
As always, fun post!

Book 2 clearly isn’t a winner with everyone :-). A book about happiness deserves to have a happy colour though and for me my fav colour is pink so there. I did see another cover that was grey with a light pink heart just yesterday so perhaps I should have included that one as well… Thank you Diana!

How funny that we both did this post today! I agree on all but number 1 because I prefer the first cover with the person peeping through the curtains. Love the one with mouse on the cover!

I know! Ah the first was a difficult one and I get your choice as well 🙂

Love your choices, but prefer book 1 House Swap and Number 1 Fragments!

I think the only one I disagree with is the first 😜 I love that you and Nicki both did this today. Cover explosion!

I know, so lovely, I’m definitely going to link to her next time.. I want to slap myself for not thinking about it :-). I think the first cover is definitely a winner for most bloggers. I like it too but you know undecisive as usual 🙂

For The House Swap, I really like cover number one. It gives me the creeps.
I like cover #2 for the next 3.
I don’t like either cover for the last book. I totally agree on the body language of both people on the first cover as being good and descriptive but the blue filter is a killer.

I know the blue filter is definitely too much, but without it I’d definitely go for that cover. Thank you for your choices, it’s lovely to find out your choices!

That’s so funny, book no 2 is actually really drawing me in (I love non fiction and would choose cover 2). 😊
Agree with your verdict on all the other covers! 😊

It’s always so hard to choose between covers on books. The one the comes to my mind is Ten Tiny Breaths by K.A. Tucker. I love both of them.

I read Ten Tiny Breaths, I’d have to look up the other cover though. I seem to have a strong preference for one cover almost 50% of the time though 🙂

They’re both similar in that they have red hair and the covers are blue.
